When the doctor pulled the plug on the fight, Cotto while well ahead was also far more tired and looking to kill the clock - it's not like Cotto was battering Michael Jennings around the ring, he was going into the championship rounds against a guy he seemed unable to hurt that was going to continue walking him down - regardless whether his right eye was closed or not.
All I am saying is that nothing was different as far as Margarito's health in the 9th or 10th versus the 5th or 6th, so I would have liked to see it finish up.
I am not saying the outcome would have been different, it just would have been interesting to see it all play out...Cotto was more tired than Margarito, backing up more, holding more and looking to kill the clock. It doesn't mean anything as it relates to what the outcome actually is, I just don't think Cotto was as fresh and Margarito was as uncompetitive in there as it seems like people are saying, sure he was losing rounds, but he was applying nonstop pressure and Cotto was starting to show the wear of it on his face.

lol, I think the guys on Method's side are very intelligent boxing minds. But I think there are just as many intelligent and even more one this side. Only more because they are in a small minority, and the majority saw what we saw.
But the people are knowledgable.
I agree with gravy, and I touched on it earlier. It could be just a coincidence, but the ones that saw a different fight are the ones that had been Margarito fans for years and were very confident and talked about the beatdown Cotto was going to receive. It seems like it's just trying to be rationalised.
Plain and simple, Margarito got beat up like a red headed step child and got thoroughly abused like he deserved, and there was ZERO controversy in this fight what so ever. The arguing is still over something small and insignificant as it was not a controversial fight and was one sided. That's the bottom line.

Tell me what I'm even debating in here, and then tell me if the exception you're trying to take out here makes sense.
