It seems like this fight might actually happen, WTF. Even Dana White has changed his tune. The board of the company that bought the UFC must have instructed the fight be made if they can grab some decent coin from it (straight out of McGregor's purse!).

I think UFC realizes that they may as well maximize McGregor's return to them. It's not unlikely that the next good opponent he fights he loses to. That happens and they can't do the Floyd fight.
But he can go, get humiliated by Floyd and then resume his MMA career.
Boxing has zero impact on McGregor's MMA marketability if he loses. But MMA severely impacts his marketability for this single fight if he gets Nate Diaz'd again.

One of Mayweather's biggest fights of his boxing career could very well end up being against a non-boxer!
Serious question..if this fight does happen..would this make Mayweather "active" enough to reappear on p4p lists or become p4p #1 again?
