I don't think anyone would be surprised to see Spence blow through him.
I do think that Garcia has a plan and if he can avoid getting hit for the first half of the fight - particularly to the body - that he might have a chance to win on points because he is a better boxer.
Mikey at +375 was interesting and I put $40 on him. At +270 (where it is today on sportsbook) the odds seem closer to what I would have thought it should have been.
I also think that if Mikey does lose, it'll be interesting to see how he loses and it'll be interesting to see how much punishment Robert allows him to take. Mikey is hard to read in terms of his grit because we've never really seen it and he has a bland personality. Somehow I suspect that Garcia is the kind of fighter who will die before he quits. I could be wrong.

I would say that people picking Mikey don’t expect to see Spence handle him.

As much as I like Mikey Garcia, I can't pick him to win this one. We don't know if he will carry his power up to 147, and the physical advantages of Spence will be hard to overcome. Spence has holes in his defense, but he's in his prime. It's likely Mikey bit off more than he can chew here.
I see this fight going the distance. The first six rounds will be close, but Spence's power and size will begin to take its toll. Mikey has the skill, heart, and strength to last the distance, and he will probably win 4 or 5 rounds. Spence will get the best of him in the second half, which will win him the fight.

Mikey wont carry his power to 147.. he didnt even carry it to 140 really. And he'll be punching a SMW Saturday night.
I think it'll look like Margs/Cotto I... and it will look like EJ has loaded wraps.
