I'm in the state where the first US death was reported; the hospital where it happened is like 12miles from where I live. Now events are getting cancelled, schools are closed, everyone has ransacked the stores of sanitizer, rubber gloves, mask, tissues, etc. I think the whole thing is a bit overblown, but it's still pretty wild to witness all the panic.

For the vast majority of people, the way in which this will impact their lives, short of being Ill for a few days then recovering, is the disruption to their daily lives with supply chains being cut, travel being banned, gatherings etc etc. So its only natural that humans, being as fucking stupid as they are, would choose to exacerbate this for no reason by panic buying and generally losing their shit.

Personally, I get why the woman got pissed for them loading up. People being hoarders and selfish generally bug the crap out of me.

People do this every single month at the beginning of the month when state benefits load. Idk how many times I've had to give rape face to dumb bitches doing this with baby formula because their WIC card loaded. We live in an inconsiderate society.
