Top 5 best boxers of 2012.
Donaire - Nonito for me had the best year of boxing. Fighting 4 times this year has gone unnoticed for the flash! Beating Vazquez Jr, Mathebula, Nishioka & Arce. Not a bad resume for 2012. Looking good in all getting a nice KO from a lead right against the highly regarded Japanese & stopping Arce in good fashion.
Garcia - despite not being overly impressed with Danny & his even moreso with his dickhead dad, 2012 was the year that really put Garcia on top of 140. Causing a mild upset by knocking khan all around the ring to get the big win, then to stop a boxing great was added decorations to his year. Geale - Daniel Geale has made progress since giving Mundine all he could handle. Stopping the long reign of Sturm to capture a title in Sturm's backyard was a statement. Then to go back to Germany AGAIN and repeat his work by defeating another title holder in the same year. Froch - His surprise demolishment of Bute was a massive statement & one of the bigger wins of the year. Then taking out Mack. Santa Cruz - just for being so damn active & showing me for the first time what a bad ass he is! |
