RE: Things not thread worthy
The fuck you talking about Mayflower ever heard of Leah Shutkever? She's my future ex wife and she's not American. Look in your own backyard.

RE: Things not thread worthy
Went to a funeral today. The mother of a guy I kinda grew up with. He was more my brothers pal but I get on well enough with him. Hadnt seen his mum for years but she was a nice lady. Anyway, aside from it jogging memories of my own mums funeral (was in the same place), I seen a lot of people I havent seen for years. They all looked so old. I am talking like people who, regardless of how well I knew them, were a part of my youth just by being the faces in the village I grew up in. Was abit of a moment for me really as I looked around and seen all these old faces and grey hair. Theres none of us getting any younger and it really fucking stinks tbh.

It’s happened to me several times as well, even sometimes just bumping into someone I went to high school with and haven’t seen in years. The weird twist to it all is I have my father’s genes, which essentially means I look perpetually 30 and will do until I hit 55 or so. I see some of these broads I used to know looking old, haggard, sometimes fat or chubby, and here I am like Dorian fucking Gray. I always hear, “wow, you look good!”, followed by questions of how I stay in shape. I feel too guilty to tell them I don’t do shit, so I lie about exercising and eating right (though I hardly do either.) It does suck though, seeing girls you loved wilt like flowers, or old guy friends with beer bellies and male pattern baldness. Time is undefeated. It wins every fight by vicious, life ending knockout. Like Rocky, all we dare hope for is to go the distance with the champ. Warriors Don't Show Their Heart Until The Axe Reveals It. |

RE: Things not thread worthy
Certainly the older we get, the more common these sombre moments become. It's never made sense to me the thought that some people are ready for death, it's always held nothing but fear for me, but as I get older I can understand how those that are much older again than me might reach the point where they have had enough of this life.

RE: Things not thread worthy
Everyone needs to watch Joe Rogan's recent podcast with Aubrey DeGrey.
That is some weird shit he is talking about, and he is cock-fucking-sure we have the technology all ready to roll out to not only halt aging, but reverse it. Black |

All heart. That's what most little guys are. But that counts for a lot. In the gym or the ring all you gotta do is get up one more time than the other guy thinks you can. - Gabrielle Calvocoressi http://www.wanderingpugilist.com |

Quote:Orlando Magic big man Jonathan Isaac became the first player in the NBA bubble not to kneel for the national anthem or wear a Black Lives Matter T-shirt over his jersey before a seeding game. Now it's not okay to stand for the national anthem? LOL. I feel like I'm living in the fucking twilight zone. All heart. That's what most little guys are. But that counts for a lot.
