Well, the counterargument to that is that in countries where there is more government regulation of healthcare, healthcare is cheaper, people live longer, people survive cancer more, children have lower death rates, and people are generally more satisfied with the care they're getting.

Government intervention never made anything I can think of better or more efficient!

It is amazing that people who think we cannot afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, and medication somehow think that we can afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, medication and a government bureaucracy to administer it.

You can't OWN someone by linking a few self serving stats and think that those links are the end all, be all.

You have been around long enough to realize that if there is a discussion about anything on the internet, then you can Google a graph to support it.

The US Healthcare system is FREE to the poorest American. Any bum could walk off of the street and receive treatment from any ER in the country without paying a single fucking dime. It was like that BEFORE Obamacare, and will hopefully remain like that after.

What's your second one...life expectancy? Life expectancy can LARGELY be attributed to diet, and genetics. Being the melting pot that we are, and having the luxuries of fatty burgers available to us on every corner would make middle of the pack about right.

Are you an idiot? Explain to me how ER care treats long-term conditions like cancer and diabetes, 'cos it doesn't. The Affordable Care Act will help out with many of those numbers, but American health care still lags far behind the rest of the civilized world.

Nope. Obamacare is the only way to receive Healthcare in the US.

Oh, and going to the E.R. isn't free. You still get charged, but not every hospital is able to collect those fees.

And by the way, those facts and figures I owned you with come from the W.H.O., O.E.C.D., U.N.E.S.C.O, and other top sources. You can't really refute them, and you didn't. U.S. healthcare lags far behind the developed world.
