What do you expect? More and more we're living in a society where criminals have more rights than victims.

I have no doubt that pedophiles, serial murderers, rapists, and so on are suffering from some sort of mental affliction. But the bottom line is, it is wrong, and they know it is wrong, which is why they go to great lengths to hide their actions.

And if they know it is wrong, they should be held accountable for it just like everyone else. Now should these people receive treatment if they truly are suffering from mental problems? Yes they should, but not in place or at the expense of justice in the name of the victim they have hurt.
