That sounds like my wife the last time she walked Ed. He pulled the leash from her chasing a neighborhood cat. The cat got away, but she doesn't walk him anymore. Some dogs are too much for a woman to control.

We almost got a Cane Corso 3 or 4 years ago...but still hadn't moved into the house. The breeder was selling it for $3,800 and my wife was trying to explain to me how buying it was the same as rescuing it since it was relegated to a fairly unfulfilling life. I explained that it doesn't cost 4 grand to rescue a dog.
We actually just rescued a Leonberger back in April. |
