RE: Politics Unfiltered
It matters which state it happened in because those states had the most stringent gun laws in the country, and also the highest number of gun deaths.

See, that's another right Americans have that you don't. The Constitution guarantees certain rights that even the President cannot change. And if an issue comes up that is not covered under the Constitution, each state is free to determine it's legality or not on their own. And there ain't a damn thing the Fed, nor any other state, can do about it.

As this pertains to gun laws, I've already shown. Obama and his socialist supporters can't ban guns because it is our constitutional right, so he bitches, whines, pouts, and moans about states not enacting more stringent gun laws.

Problem is, as I showed, stringent gun laws don't equal better gun control. Education, job opportunities, proper mental health facilities, and religious moral values instilled at an early age do, in my opinion.

Stringent gun laws would be a start. The damage already done of course would take a long time to clear up (the hindreds of millions of guns already sold and in the hands of the public).

One fact that you cannot argue with is that countried with stringent gun laws dont have routine mass shootings. That, I guess is where the people of these countries look on with horror and disbelief.

What works for you guys does not work for us. There is no "one size fits all" approach to this issue...or most any other issue for that matter. Strict gun laws in this country lead to more gun related deaths. This is a fact. So unless you are arguing for more gun violence, then you should really consider alternative solutions that have the highest likelihood for success.

RE: Politics Unfiltered
I've already shown you the math, man. Stringent gun laws don't reduce gun violence, that's just the math. You're arguing facts with opinions, which is all too often the fatal flaw of the liberal viewpoint.

If guns weren't allowed in America and were never allowed, I have no doubt those numbers would be smaller. But on the other hand, that's an argument bankrupt in logic because without citizens arming themselves, the United States of America wouldn't exist in the first place. The American militia was an intrical part of American independence.

After the revolutionary war, our founding fathers realized the power of citizens to form an armed militia was key to fighting a corrupt governing body.

The final fact is that there are guns in America, over 300,000,000, in fact. Banning them is impossible. Regulation and stringent gun laws have also proven ineffective, and the math bears this out.

You tell me, what gun law will stop a mass murderer bent on killing?

Yeah I think you guys have reached a catch 22 because if the volume of available guns. Let me tell you I consider myself a man of the world, I have in my time done things and mixed with people who operate on both sides of the law. By no means am I a criminal or even close, but I have known a few didgy characters in my time.

I can tell you for certian I would NOT be able to get my hands on a gun in this country. Simply no way. Thats the difference I suppose.

I know what I would rather though. And thats not blind bias, I never want to see a gun unless its strapped to a member of the police or army.

And that's Obama's home city! But how many press conferences has he given for that? But I forgot, #BlackLivesMatter only when it is politically convenient.

RE: Politics Unfiltered
Imagine what would be happening in Chicago if a white person was shot every 2.84 hours.

The genuinely tragic thing is that Mayor Emmanuel is jacking up property taxes this year to make up for the union pension shortfalls and the white flight that has been going on in Chicago for the past few decades is going to accelerate.

Chicago is the next Detroit.

California (LA in particular) will be the next Chicago.

And so on.

That would mean that we were in the middle of an actual race war, or a Zombie Apocalypse. Either way, the news coverage would be crazy!
