Don't know how Gamboa can be on any p4p lists either. He is just marginally more proven than Broner, but not much.
Gamboa has done fuck all and doesn't deserve to be on any list. He is just there on reputation and potential.

Donaire

Hopkins

V.Klitschko
Pacquiao

Mayweather moves back to number 1 for me, but as soon as Ward steps through the ropes he will be back on top. They are that close to me, yet Ward has fought better comp recently but needs to be active.

Also. I was a lil thrown off on where Donaire & Rigondauex should be. Despite how lopsided I scored the fight, it REALLY was that competitive. Although Rigo is extremely impressive & deserves to catapult up the rankings based on his performance & who he beat. Is it enough to surpass Donaire? & does Donaire drop that much despite all his previous work & losing to a very talented fighter?? I beleive they shouldn't be very far apart from eachother when considering the above.

Another thought. Let's say Mayweather looked exactly how he looked against Guerrero, but got KO'd in (for arguments sake) the 8th round. Where would Guerrero be placed & how far down would have Mayweather dropped for you guys?? Low enough to be placed below Guerrero?

Anyways..this is what I could come up with, with my p4p list!

Ward has done more at 168 in 3 years than Mayweather has done at 147 in 8 years. Ward should be #1 p4p, him or BHop.

RE: Pound 4 Pound rankings
With Mayweather, Pacqiuao, Hopkins, Ward, Martinez, Klitschko, Donaire no longer being on p4p lists today..boxing has most definitely entered a new era.

With the way the sport has changed over recent years..I must say that these days p4p fighters are incredibly inexperienced boxers compared to past fighters who were the best in the world!!

Putting together my current p4p list was difficult and feel like I had to resort to giving many the benefit of the doubt or basically had to drop my standards from the past, just to make one.

Too many politics, picking/choosing, weight jumping/dropping & not fighting enough has dramatically changed.

When I'm ranking fighters I look at a couple of things but mainly it's about their wins! Who have they beat, when did they beat them & in what manner they did it in.

These are how i generally rank a fighter p4p (& all time rankings..minus the last criteria)..

Competition/record/named opponents
Performance/statements
Win streaks/title defenses/longevity
Skills
How active/current form

Based on recent discussions & the sport transforming, I'd expect alot of very different looking lists here.

This is what I came up with..

1. Loma - named opponent(s), performance(s), skills

2. Crawford - undefeated, Unified 140, skills

3. Usyk - undefeated, unified Cruiser, Statement(s)

4. Canelo - Competition, named opponent(s), performance(s), statement

5. Srisaket - win streak, named opponent, competition, statement

6. AJ - named opponent, undefeated

7. E.Alvarez - named opponent, statement, undefeated

8. Porter - competition, named opponent(s)

9. M.Garcia - undefeated, performance(s), skills

10. GGG - competition, skills

11. Fury - Undefeated, named opponents, statements

12. Thurman - undefeated, named opponents

13. Leo Santa Cruz - named opponent, performance
