Man, it feels like both these guys are ready to really get negotiations going, and we see this fight in the Spring/Early Summer. Not sure if they'll just agree to MGM and May 5th...I mean, that would be a little too submissive...but who knows.
Really though, "We'll call their bluff"? Bob, it took you damn near 2 years to cave, don't act like you called a bluff. I hope Marquez shits on the parade tonight. Those two guys don't deserve the pay-day. |

HBO showed Floyd the real PPV figures and told him to man up.
HBO has the tradition of sticking the name of one of its executives when announcing the result of any good performing PPV. Never happened with Floyd-Ortiz. Even though GBP was claiming that the supposed 1.25M was the 2nd highest grossing nonheavy figure. IMHO, the "1.25M" grossed a lot but netted disappointingly. |
