He would have had the toughness, style and workrate to trouble Canelo back then, whose workrate and stamina have always been his weakness.
I don't think Mayweather & Williams could be any different in fighters..they're really nothing alike! Mayweather may have given Canelo a one sided fight or boxing lesson but to call it a one sided beating is off and misleading to what really happened!

Id call it a one sided beating. Floyd was moving and landing at will... Clenelo was getting his ears boxed off and didnt land not 1 significant punch.

Floyd used him as a punching bag. Floyd not being a big puncher saved that from being the type of loss that ruins a fighter. You could look into Canelo's eyes as the fight went on and see a look of "i just fucked up". The type of shit reserved for dudes that get a nasty bitch pregnant
