2 belts/8 divisions.
If you had the power to have two belts in 16 divisions. Or 8 divisions but still having the 4 existing sanctioning bodies. Which would it be?
In a perfect world you'd have 1 belt. But which scenario of 2 belts/16 divisions or 4 belts/8 divisions would have a more positive impact on the sport? I think having just two belts instead of 3, 4 or more would create more clarity and promote unifications more whereas 8 divisions would eliminate catchweights and create more matchups. |

RE: 2 belts/8 divisions.
2 belts 16 divisions but the option to hold and defend multiple weight classes at the same time..... like if you're the 154 champ and 160 champ and you and the opp agree to fight at a catch weight of 55 or 56 or just agree to mange 54 but still have both belts on the line it should be allowed
