Warlord, it might help to move it further away if you can...depending on your setup of course.
Do this little test to see if it is the source or your network: Play a GVideo HD source of anything in Exodus. If you get buffering, then it is your network. If it plays right away, then it is the sources that you were selecting. You'll figure out which sources are better than others, and have a few favorites. GVideo is money for me. Moved the firebox about 2 feet from the TV (it was directly under it before) and loaded up an HD stream of Breaking Bad from gvideo. No buffering at all.
Thanks, gents. Was moving the firebox that short of a distance of any value at all? How far would you generally recommend? |

Great.
You'd be surprised at how big of a difference just moving something a few inches away from interference makes. The electronics in the back of a TV are the worst for signal degradation. I'm a dumb fuck, but now sometimes when I'm letting a stream buffer, I get a message that the cache is full. WTF? I clean it using No Issues, but still get that shit. What am I doing wrong?
How do I check that packets shit you mentioned earlier? Sorry for all the questions. |

Which build are you using?
You may want to try SPMC. It's specifically designed by a Kodi developer, koying, to optimize performance with Android boxes. I've had better experiences with it than with stock Kodi on my Fire devices. You can install it alongside your current build. If you like it better, then just uninstall Kodi. Watched a good HD copy of Central Intelligence on Kodi last night. It had Chinese subs, but I didn't even notice them after a few minutes. Funny movie and definitely worth a watch.
