Real shit gets done constantly from great distance and has for a long time now. People are bombed, assassinated and ruined from afar daily. and people develop decent relationships from afar more times than not these days.

The reason corporate does not want to send to the face to face may be budgetary but it is more likely fear that you may make contacts and move on. My best people are always being recruited. My partners are always wringing their hands about sending them to conferences etc. The only reason they need to wring their hands has nothing to do with the competition and everything to do with decisions like eliminating health care.

Many years ago, while serving in the Eastern Bloc, I had this feeling "deep down inside" that something was wrong with what I was doing. Then I came across an old paper written by Major General Smedley Butler (the only Marine that I am aware of that was awarded two Medals of Honor and lived to wear them) called "War Is A Racket."

General Butler wrote the paper after exposing a coup planned by a corporate fascist cabal with ties to Nazi Germany. George W. Bush's grandfather was part of the group and was later convicted of illegal business dealings with Germany leading up to WWII. The group attempted to recruit Butler to lead the coup and become the fascist figurehead of the government. Instead he blew the whistle and preempted the takeover though he was vilified for the remainder of his life by the corporate elite.

In "War Is A Racket" he gives the most succinct and first hand description of the corporate fascist utilization of the US Military for offensive operations v countries that refuse to do their bidding.

Since then (decades ago) I have worked "deep down inside" the system to do what I can to circumvent the International Corporate Fascist Movement, restore the Constitution of the United States of America and the rule of law and prevent the construction of the neo-feudalist edifice, anonymously.

Hey, JLUV, great to see you man!

I can't speak for anybody else but I felt that the old school dudes were being disrespected by thehype. I do not include me in "the old school" crowd.

Nothing personal against the hype, Percy or anybody else over there. They have done and will continue to do good work but the constant referral to loyal dudes as "just traffic" and the suggestion that if "the traffic" didn't like what was going on they should start their own board led Spyder to do just that.

And I for one appreciate it very much.

Cshel as a mod was also pathetic, IMO. don't get me wrong, I liked the dude as a poster, but he was outta control with power as a mod, like cortez as a ref- tryin to be the show.

Just stay the fuck outta the way, for omnipotent being's sake.

i hadnt had too much interaction with that guy... who is he and how did he get modded so fast?... lol... more power to him tho... like i said ive been on a friend of mines board for the last few months is why ive been so distant from fighthype.. but i will for sure make myself a regular here as well and if you guys dont mind check out my friends board as well.. im a mod there by the way... but its boxingsocialist.com... very cool site and the fans run the board... its really growing... and i will do my best to help grow this site as well... anything thats good for boxing im all for...
