I need to vent....
STEVENSKI Wrote:Fitz Wrote:All these cameras are nothing more than revenue raising for the government. There are better measures to take to increase safety. Haha, you should let my brother tell you his story on Eastlink. He was working in Dandenong, he got a fine at one of the speed cameras on there, then got a second as well. He was positive after that he was sticking to the speed limit and was aware of the camera as well. He ended up with about 8-9 fines from the same camera and lost his licence for 3 months and a fuckload in fines. The CEO Wrote:I have a gripe though... Haha, I love terms like that. There is this fuckhead manager, who works upstairs. He owns a percentage of the company, and is like the boss, as the owner only rocks up a a few times every 1-2 weeks. But he calls everyone 'dude', and he calls me 'dude' because he doesn't know my fucking name. Such an arrogant cunt. Even on birthday cards, he bought a stamp that says "Hippo Birthday from Gordo" and just stamps peoples cards. Last year when it was his birthday, I printed out a sticker that said 'happy birthday' and put it on his card, lol. But he is big on calling people 'dude'. I overuse the word 'dude' at times now, it was originally taking the piss out of him, but just comes out so naturally now. But I'm big on calling people 'sport', 'champ', 'pal', 'tiger', 'dude', 'slugger', 'chief', 'boss', 'muscles', 'handsome'. Even every now and again I call waitresses' "hun", "love". When I'm saying some of these things, I'm not totally serious and I crack a smirk sometimes because it amuses me. Especially calling someone 'muscles', 'tiger', 'slugger' that is your senior, as some of these are terms that older people use to youngsters, so I get a laugh out of it. I'm also going to use these terms when I'm older to younger people, so I am getting used to it now and getting a feel out, lol. I want to be that guy that says something like that, and then gives them a wink. I'm going to start using the wink more often in my repatoir. If you can pull it off well, it's a great move. |
