No. I'm thinking of CHANTIX

Champix sounds like some kind of boxing porn site.

Fitzie, I bet you if the drug makes you suicidal, there were a few successful suicide stories. It probably depended on the caliber of person. Like, if you're a go-getter, a successful person or something, you probably were able to pull off the suicide, so congrats to those, and Rest In Peace. If you're a loser, or suck in life, and you couldnt get it done, sorry to hear that. Good luck with future endeavors.

They have a website dedicated to this fucking drug.

Oh, coming cold turkey off a xannie binge is nerve racking. Talk about short-tempered.
Oh yep. Yeah it's meant to work, but I didn't want to take any risks. My dad is a GP and suggested it, but didn't go through with it. I've heard other people say they were succesful, but yeah didn't want to go down that path at the time.

My mother after a 20 a day 45 year habit had to quit due to her having a detached retina and and her doc said if she wanted to ensure better eyesight in her one remaining good eye she would have to stop smoking. She took Champix and I thought she would be suicidal because that was a woman who loved her smokes but she was fine and gave up a lot easier than anyone anticipated and she didn't even murder my father which I thought may be on the cards as well.

She's been off cigarettes for over 2 years now and not on the Champix anymore either but after reading some of those Champix stories I'm now super relieved she didn't suffer any of those side effects.

That's great. It works really well with getting people off smokes, which is why my dad suggested it. Just some of the bad stories are pretty bad, but good stuff that your mum was one of the lucky ones, haha.
