From memory, Jeff Horn started very late as an amateur. He came out of nowhere to win the national title a few years back to get him to the world championships and the Olympics. So he probably has a lot more upside than most prospects. He also has an awkward style, a lot of really subtle skills at judging range, using angles and suffocating distance. That said, he is still a long long way from being a real contender in a stacked WW division.

Horn is super dooper close to signing what would be a VERY big name at WW. Not Mawyweather/Manny big but a step not too far down as far as recognizable factor goes. They are inches away from getting it and for August. They hope to release in the next few days. If it doesn't pan out I'll let you know who it was. The dude can really punch, has very quick feet and in exciting news for the absent Big G, Manny-like calves. I think he is special.

Parker is really in his groove right now. Still 2-3 years away from properly growing into his body. I only hope they don't rush him.
