DeMarco is only 25 years old. Sure he is 26-2 but I think he is one of those who comes on late. He lost a decision early in his career and then to the "legendary" Valero in a war.

But, I get your point.

Cesar Seda Jr could be another you classify as not a "prospect" but I think this kid is pretty special. 21(15)-1, his only loss a homer decision in Argentina for Narvaez. This kid oozes skill and natural talent.

Brad Solomon is a sleeper prospect at 17-0 who has been defeating more vaunted prospects fairly regularly.

Frankie Gomez 11(8)-0 and Jose Benavidez 13(12)-0 are more of what you are looking for I suppose. They are both 19 with similar amateur careers, excellent skills and natural ability. There is a decent possibility that they could develop into the future at 140 and welter. Gomez is more of a scrapper with good quickness while Benavidez is blessed with height (5'11"), length (73"), quickness and good pop.

They are both being brought along deliberately. There is footage out there of them in the ring v each other as amateurs. Benavidez has footage of his sparring with Manny some time ago. He has also sparred with a number of other pros including Ramming Speed.

Unfortunately, we may never see them meet as pros since Benavidez is TR and Gomez is GB.

My gut says that Benavidez is future top 10 P4P material but the other night Steward and Lampley felt Linares was the second coming of SRR. What a difference 10 rounds can make.
