Frankie Gomez is the goods. This guy gets no recognition, doesn't train properly at times according to Roach, but has the ability to take over if he gets his act together. He could be the biggest test for Errol Spence down the track, assuming Errol takes over in the coming couple years. Frankie was a silver medalist at the amateur world championships at 17 (WTF, who else has done that?), and dominated Mauricio Herrera like nobody else has. That ain't no easy feat given the quality fighters Mauricio has fought. And Frankie absolutely shut him out. Roach calls him his best prospect to boot.
