Far out, Salamov upset. Hooper was 8-1. Unfortunately I didn't get on that. Hooper was always a wild card with his amateur pedigree, but I'm surprised Salamov couldn't dent that chin. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm guessing the speed and deceptive length is what got Hooper the win. He must have had to bite down and fight at points over 10 rounds though, like Khan, he isn't slick so can be hit, particularly as the rounds go by.

Toussaint showed good fundamentals and some decent footwork. I'm surprised he spent most of the fight on the outside though, he spends most of his time in sparring toe to toe. That split decision was a joke though, Toussaint won that by at least 2-3 rounds.

Hooper got some hometown cooking IMHO. Umar was underwhelming, very flat and Hooper probably got the cleaner work done, I just don't think he did enough of it. I had it 6-4 the other way or possibly even 7-3 but as I know Umar I'm trying to give Hooper the benefit of the doubt on close rounds.

Toussaint looked very sharp.

And finally I should be crowing that I'm not 2 from 2 with my prospect picks with Horn winning but it feels a bit flat as I really don't believe he won that fight, LOL.
