Good kid from my hometown in Brooklyn named Chris "Lil BHop" Colbert... NY golden gloves champ.. 7-0 with 2 KOs, fights at Featherweight and is signed to Al Haymon.. this kid has all the goods to be World Champ someday.
Also Maurice "Mighty Mo" Hooker gets a title shot coming up VS Terry Flanagan in April.. He's from a local gym(Maple ave Boxing) in my current city of Dallas.. Havent seen much of Flanagan but Mo is tall, long, rangy fighter who works well off the jab... its fun to see so many guys i came up with now getting title shots.. makes me wonder what if. |
