Ortiz is a tough straightforward fighter who's got heavy hands and can take a punch. Just judging by the highlight clips on youtube from DAZN, he didn't seem to be bothered at all by Hooker's punches or that long jab of Hooker.
But being willing to take a punch to land a punch might get him in trouble with guys like Thurman or Spence. And Crawford is too slick for him - at least for now. I don't know if he's ready for Porter but that would be a tough and close fight. Ortiz-Ennis in 3 years is something great to look forward to. |
