That was a real real shame to me that Rios did not make weight, took away the title aspect and now you wonder how drained he is for this fight (his face sure looked gaunt). And now he has to remain below 146ish before the morning. I still think he will win, but no doubt he struggled hard to make this weight.
Looks like 140 is next for him, which provides some HUGE matchups. Could have Guerrero, JMM and Rios all adding their names to the mix at 140, which will be fireworks with Morales, Judah, Matthyse, Kotelnik, Khan, Bradley, Alexander, Peterson, Madaina all there. How about Rios vs the 140lb Peterson brother? Now that would be fun! |

Yea Rios gotta move up right after this fight he's too big for 135lb and watch Khan move right on up to 147lb cuz he won't like knowing that he'll have a loudmouth banger like Rios there who will be calling him out every oppurtunity he gets.

haha yeh Khan will run for the hills no doubt!
I'd honestly prefer Rios to stay at 135lbs for now and try get his title back, then unify with DeMarco and by then Gamboa should be ready. Only then move on up. He says he can still make 135 easy, but not sure he will say that now after this weigh in! |
