Show me a video of one who uses the shoulder is a lead shield like Floyd? There are guys who used it like Floyd, with the lead hand in, but they never used it to walk guys down. He puts the shoulder out there purely to get guys to target it, he can then close the distance and lead, counter, or take a break.

Watch how Floyd brings the shoulder higher, the lead arm in, and slightly leans his upper body backwards to cut off the angle when he uses it. Nobody else does that. That's innovation.
