RE: 7-25-2015
Odds question for you Rom. A few of the bets you listed like Shumenov @ 1.4, Pascal @ 1.28 but then Kovalev in rounds 1-6 you listed it as @ 0.57? Should that be 1.57 or should the others be 0.4, 0.28 etc?

RE: 7-25-2015
FYI, anyone looking to play Kovalev in rounds 1-6, it makes more sense to eliminate that bet and split that wager $ equally between rounds 1-3 and 4-6 in 2 separate bets. The payout if you hit either would be at least 40% more.
Example: You bet $1000 on Kovalev in rounds 1-6 and hit it you make $570. If you split that $1000 and go $500 on Kovalev in rounds 1-3 and $500 on him in 4-6, if the KO comes in 1-3 you'll net $810 ($1310-$500) and if it comes in 4-6 you'll net $1200 ($1700-$500). That said, give me... $20k on Kovalev in rounds 1-3 $20k on Kovalev in rounds 4-6 |

RE: 7-25-2015
5k Kovalev 1-3.
5k Kovalev 4-6. This guy has been stopped twice previously and Kovalev hits like a truck and is on a completely different level. I can't see this going past 6. Brutal, your maths is a little out. If you bet 500 on each, you still have to deduct 1000 off of the winnings. So 1-3 you net 310 and 4-6 you net 700. Whereas 1-6 you net 570. You had me excited for a minute there, I thought their algorithms were throwing up statistical arbitrage opportunities. |

RE: 7-25-2015
Are you sure about that? With a line of 1.57 the "1" I always took as you getting back the risked money. The risked money in a bet is only lost if you lose the bet. So, if you are wagering $1000 ($500 x 2 outcomes) and either outcome hits you lose the $500 from the outcome that didn't hit but don't lose it from the other.
So if you bet $500 at 1.57, you can look at it as $500 x 1.57 = $785 but you "lose" the $500 bet, so you net $285, or you can multiply the $500 x 0.57 to see how much you win just "risking", but not losing your wager for that outcome. Does that make sense? |
