So all of Rom's calculations are wrong for all of the ChuCha threads then in your opinion? Because that's how everything has been calculated all along, and nothing has been said by anyone or you up until now.

I still don't think you are understanding the concept of risked money. You say it's a 52k payout, 20k of which is your own money. THAT is not correct; it's RISKED money only lost if you lose the bet.

Let's dumb it down to a dollar. $1.00. Look, if you bet (RISK) $1 on a 2-1 underdog and the underdog wins, you net $2. You don't then lose the $1 you risked (since you didn't lose) or you'd only net $1 or even money. "Even money" is not what is made by betting on a 2-1 underdog or no one in the world would bet.

According to your criteria, in an even money bet... that is a 50/50 bet if you bet $1 and win the bet, you'd net $1 minus the $1 you bet so you'd walk away with zero. Does that really make sense in your mind... that if you bet on a 50/50 outcome and get the outcome correct you make zero?
