To be honest, I'd be searching for whatever is closest to Scotland but ideally with 2 or 3 months of decent summer. As black said I like the seasons and the temperate climate, but when its 13degC and pissing down rain in late July, thats not a great deal of fun.

For my retirement..... has to be the Caribbean though.

There is nothing temperate about the Caribbean. That's the tropics my man. Better bring your SPF and a fan.

I much prefer the sub-tropics. You get a little taste of winter, without all of the bullshit. And it only lasts a couple of weeks.

Yeah id accept that tho. Iv always been obsessed with the caribbean. Iv always considered it to be my idea of paradise, and when I went to Cuba I fuckin loved it.

I've been to PR, DR, and most of the big British and US Virgin Islands...

I've always wanted to go to Jamaica(for the same reason as Amsterdam) and the rest of the Caribbean like Barbados and Belize.

It's fascinating how so many islands are Independent but also claimed by so many different countries like US, UK, France, Netherlands, etc.

I would go to Italy, reason being i have family there. Never met them but would like to. My grandpa was born over there then came over with his father and married my grandma. But yea answer Italy

To be honest JDC i don't know my grandpa died when i was 4yrs old and my dad doesn't talk about it a whole lot, I'll find out though and hey back to you. I'd say probably around the Sicily area my grandpa was shorter with very a dark complexion and jet black hair, my dad has the same dark complexion but not the hair color.

Lots of the big Italian Gangs were Sicilian... When I was in Rome everyone kept telling me I looked Sicilian and looked like a Mafioso.. I thought it was funny when I found out I actually WAS Sicilian. Lol
