Manny Pacquiao vs Adrien Broner
I think the chances are low of this fight actually happening, but Broker and now Koncz have both confirmed there have been talks...

What do you guys think of this fight?.. Nice way to drum up interest on a Floyd rematch if Manny wins this. He can easily outwork Broner for a UD, showing what a Floyd fight would look like with 2 "healthy shoulders"...

It def sells.

RE: Manny Pacquiao vs Adrien Broner
Makes sense for Pac. Much easier fight for Pac than an in house Top Rank fight with Crawford (my first choice for Pac) and much more interesting than another in house Top Rank 3rd fight with Bradley.

If Arum really did want to leverage Pac's last fight with some kind of bigger deal with PBC, Broner would be the best risk/reward for Pac in that, like you said, easy fight for Pac on work rate alone and it definitely would sell.

I'd much rather see Pac fight Khan, Thurman, Porter or even Garcia.

RE: Manny Pacquiao vs Adrien Broner
At this point Manny's career is done so I'd prefer to see a fireworks type fight like this over anything else. Legacy-wise Manny had pretty much achieved everything he can so another one of those type of fights does little to extend it. nah give me the trash talking at the press conference etc that this type of fight would bring.

I LOVE it as a farewell type of fight.

RE: Manny Pacquiao vs Adrien Broner
I totally agree with your sentiment, Ollie. And I'd certainly be happy to buy the PPV with a shit undercard.

Pac might have the greatest resume of any fighter of my lifetime and he sure as hell don't need to take a high risk fight at this point.

But if he did fight Crawford, then win or lose that would be the biggest fuck you to anyone who ever criticized him for ANYTHING (other than, of course, steroids - which he clearly took for at least a couple of years).

I'm always for Broner scooping up another L on his record, so this fight works for me.

I only hope Manny still has some career damaging power in the tank to inflict on Broner

RE: Manny Pacquiao vs Adrien Broner
If this fight was to take place, it would be the first time in a long time in which I would be supporting Mr. Pacquiao.

All heart. That's what most little guys are.
But that counts for a lot. In the gym or
the ring all you gotta do is get up
one more time than the other guy thinks you can.
