AJ has stated several times he isnt ready for Wilder till '18 or beyond... He himself isnt ready for a guy who fights like boxing is his hobby.

He wants the fight in 18...he’s had a big 17, while Wilder has focused on fighting guys that are on par with the two dudes who put wainscoting up in my basement.
