RE: Potential Mayweather-McGregor numbers.
Let's be real the world's 50th best WW would beat the shit out of McGregor.

Probably. He got outboxed by Nate Diaz, for fuck's sake. He's cashing out. So is Floyd.

Nate Diaz would beat him in a straight boxing match.

RE: Potential Mayweather-McGregor numbers.
I may be wrong (as I only watched it once), but wasn't MacGregor outboxing Diaz for a fair while before just running out of gas and falling apart?
Have I remembered it wrongly? Black |

RE: Potential Mayweather-McGregor numbers.
He hit him with some good shots, but Nate was killing him with jabs and overhand rights. Nate even SLAPPED Conor in that fight, 8 fucking times! Slapped him! Like a fucking bitch!
And then it was a jab in the second that hurt Conor and turned him into a panic wrestler. A jab! I'm telling you, Conor is so shit even Mayweather will be able to finish him. Though it will be funny to see Conor go for a single leg after Gayweather gets him on Queer Street. |

RE: Potential Mayweather-McGregor numbers.
There's no way this is actually going to happen.
No boxing commission is going to sanction a 49-0 multi-time world champion against a pro debut, and Floyd will only fight in Vegas. Smoke and mirrors for whatever fight is actually going to happen. |

Why not? They approved Toney/Couture.

RE: Potential Mayweather-McGregor numbers.
Any state athletic committee is happy to help generate the millions of dollars this would.
Sure, they might not sanction it against someone who wasn't a professional athlete in another combat sport...but they will have an easy enough time justifying it and everyone will make money. The fight will be the least competitive battle you can imagine and anyone who bought it will whine and gripe. Do I actually think it happens? No. Would it shock me if it did? No. For whatever it is worth, Colin Cowherd claims to have info on it and says the fight is 100% done for September. |

RE: Potential Mayweather-McGregor numbers.
Would NSAC really turn Floyd down? The only problem with this is McGregor and Floyd. Floyd will want all of the money and McGregor will overvalue himself.

RE: Potential Mayweather-McGregor numbers.
No boxing commission needs to approve it. They'll do it at a casino on a reservation where no commission is present.
