RE: RIP Kimbo Slice
In 1 week you got arguably the greatest sportsperson in history and most recognised figure and arguably the greatest fighter/heavyweight in history and then arguably the greatest backyard internet fighter die days later.

I was thinking the same thing. Kinda strange. All heart. That's what most little guys are. But that counts for a lot. RE: RIP Kimbo Slice
Excessive Roid use...that's a given.
They are saying he was in ICU for 3 days before he died and needed a heart transplant. And...although I liked Kimbo....his name has no business even being mentioned in the same breath as Ali. The good thing is he was really smart with his money and had a manager that watched out for him...so his family should be in good shape.....which is rare in the sport of fighting...any kind of fighting from boxing to MMA to Pro wrestling. |

Fuck dude. Ruined my own intention by posting on the McGregor-Floyd thread.

RE: RIP Kimbo Slice
Ollie, I wouldn't be afraid to do that. I actually prefer fighting bigger guys.
BG... Your absolutely right.. He doesn't deserve to be in the same sentence as Ali.. Unless the sentence is Ali would've destroyed Kimbo in a boxing match. But the dude died.... That was my gift to him. P. S.... How did Kimbo get 3 threads and a " Things not thread worthy" post and Ali got 1?!?!.... PSS... My phone keeps auto correcting "Kimbo" to "Limbo"... I keep wanting to save it in my dictionary but figure I won't be needing it too much longer. Edit: Dammit, I sound like an asshole. |
