RE: Official Danny Garcia vs Keith Thurman Thread
Majorly impressed with Thurman for three rounds or so...then he seemed to 'settle' and I didn't like him running for the final three rounds. What could have been a 10-2 or 9-3 fight became a 7-5 fight...and that is too close for comfort.

Danny knew if he pressed he.was getting koed.. Thurman knew that he coast to win and did. Keith didn't want to risk himself getting koed so he held back down the stretch. Danny was still.very dangerous. A silent agreement was made.

Down the stretch Thurman just gave up and coasted. This isn't the amateurs, nobody is winning fights by getting points per punch. For such a big fight for his career and a very winnable fight for him he just didn't ever really have his foot on the gas.

Any of you catch the post fight conference? Thurman really disappointed me. It sounded like he just has no desire to prove himself in this sport and fans should be happy to watch him coast.

I really wish he would've gotten De La Hoya'ed, Tito style. He'd be singing a different tune now.

Sometimes you don't get the fight you want, you get to see the art of boxing. Bouncing around on your toes and throwing 5 punches

We're all just disappointed that the end of the Danny Garcia run didn't come with a brutal KO or beat down that made his dickhead dad malfunction.

Knowing their styles, I don't think you could have expected fireworks for 12...spurts sure, but no a war.

Garcia rightfully lost, he had no gameplan. Thurman looked great for 4 rounds and then let off the gas. I don't need to see it again, I honestly think I would rather see Garcia fight Bradley and Thurman grab the Pac - Khan winner.

I just want Thurman-Porter 2 and Garcia to take on Luis Ortiz in a bare knuckle fight.

Thurman wasn't on his toes in the last three rounds, he was on skates.

And I wanted Thurman to win, by the way. But you've got to call a spade a spade.
