Alan Thicke suddenly passed away on Tuesday, December 13. He was 69. According to a source, his son, Robin Thicke, rushed to be by his side. According to TMZ, he reportedly died of a heart attack.

He was also a talented song writer. He wrote the theme for many TV shows including The Facts of Life.
