Stand up comedy.
There have been some hilarious comedians in the past and some of them are right at home on stage.
Some of the greatest comedians started out on stage and have been many great shows and moments. I will start off with a comedian I was totally unaware of until a couple of weeks ago when I stumbled along this video and oh my god!!! This may not be the greatest vid to start off with but this is fuckin intense!! Comedian Bill Hicks battles a room full of hecklers and at the end loses his mind & goes on a gigantic, frantic rant. Made some good points along the way but wow!! What a watch! He was considered very controversial and many say ahead of his times. I came across this video due to seeing a recommended video of his banned performance on the David Letterman show which I'll post first..

Bill Hicks would be HUGE if he were doing stand-up right now. He would destroy the Snowflake/Trigger Warning culture of today. Chris Rock was great in his prime but I grew up on Eddie Murphy, both Delirious and Raw are still my favourite stand-up shows of all time.

Love this Raw & Delirious were classics!! Eddie Murphy was a real showman on stage! Coming To America is still one of my fav comedy movies of all time!! |

Bill Hicks was a maniac. Fucking crazy funny and talented. Another one of those "dead too soon" crowd. I'm a huge fan of stand up, with a shit load of material to post, I don't know where to start. You don't get too many Asian comedians..at all really. However Ronny Chieng is a big exception and is pretty damn funny. He came to Australia to originally do law and has now found himself doing stand up instead
