I'm kinda proud of this.

This is a clip of the Revenge of the Nerds cast reliving the glory days at some kind of panel presentation. They talk about a number of legendary things that went right in the movie, including a bunch of stories about how they got cast. I liked the movie and found the panel entertaining if a little sad.

All that said, jump to the 26:27 moment in the clip. This is where the character of Yoshi tells a totally unnecessary story as background for his casting which includes a completely unnecessary factoid: "I did a show called 'Anna and the King' with Yul Brenner."

Again, kind of sad but at the same time kinda hilarious.

It actually reminds me that I saw Long Duck Dong from Sixteen Candles at a Sean Lennon concert at the Troubador in Los Angeles in the late 1990s. Tons of asians to see Sean Lennon, who was treated like a god. Anyway, the Asians all LOVED Long Duck Dong. He was a total celeb. I assume Yoshi got the same treatment.
