Era vs Era middleweights!!
Let's see how the middleweights of today would stack up against the top 10 plus champion from 1985!

Marvin Hagler, Champion vs 10Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam

1John Mugabi vs 9Andy Lee
2James Shuler vs 8Ryota Murata
3James Kinchen vs 7David Lemuix
4Don Lee vs 6Demetrius Andrade
5Herol Graham vs 5Jermall Charlo
6Robbie Sims vs 4Sergey Drevenychenko
7Doug DeWitt vs 3Billy Jo Saunders
8Wilfred Benitez vs 2Daniel Jacobs
9Tony Sibson vs 1Gennady Golovkin
10Chong-Pal Park vs Champion Saul Alvarez

Both lists are sourced from ring magazine annual ratings. This one has a few more interesting matchup then the heavyweights. I've been going through the ratings year by year and some years are freaking stacked! How do you guys see this playing out? Who wins and where are the upsets?

RE: Era vs Era middleweights!!
To be fair..I'd have to do alot of catching up on these matchups as I'm not too familiar with the the boxers on this list. By saying that I couldn't think of many boxers in history that would have beat Hagler..none in these matchups anyways!
I'd say Mugabi, Benitez & Golovkin would have been some of the last fighters left in this tournament!

RE: Era vs Era middleweights!!
Robinson was a welterweight fighting at middleweight and is the greatest middleweight of all time. He lost to a light heavyweight due to heat exhaustion and called out the heavyweight champion of the world. That's a Robinson out of his prime.

Who on that list from either era do you see giving him trouble?
