The judges have probably scored the first 3 rounds to Canelo already!

I think GGG gets him out of there late.

Canelo will always have to take rounds off to have enough late. I think Golovkin legitimately does not like him and will press the unjuiced Alvarez earlier. TKO 11.

RE: Canelo-GGG II signed for September 15th!
Golovkin now knows something that the rest of us already knew: Winning the fight against Canelo is not the same as winning the decision.

He'll fight with that in mind, go for broke, and pull it out late because Canelo will have to work even harder in 1-8 to keep GGG off of him.

The X-factor here is the same as Lewis-Holyfield II. The decision in the first fight was so bad, the outrage so loud, that it made no difference what happened in the rematch. If Lewis was standing at the final bell, he was winning the fight. What happened? The rematch was much closer than the first fight and yet the scorecards looked like what reasonable people scored the first one.

I'll take GGG on a late stoppage, but this might be the first time that we see a fair shake against a big money fighter in the Nevada desert.

RE: Canelo-GGG II signed for September 15th!
It's hard to say if Golovkin can even press late. It seems like most guys dont care about making statements anymore. They rather go to the cards and hope they win instead of putting on a show. Canelo wont and cant improve more than he already has, he's reached his ginger ceiling. Golovkin needs to step up and beat the breaks off of him or accept that he'll be ropped again and Canelo will hope for a trilogy where Golovkin is 40 and coming off of a career ending ko loss.

RE: Canelo-GGG II signed for September 15th!
I disagree.

We saw the very best of GGG last time out. He can't start faster because that will mean taking more punches from a guy who is naturally faster and sharper than him.

He will, again, take over in the middle sounds, but I saw nothing in the first fight to make me think either man can stop the other.

This is another close decision fight. I think it will be tight but the judges will bend over backwards to give it to Golovkin.

Non juiced Canelo will not be what he was, and even that wasn’t enough to avoid a loss without a judge whose real job should be wiping asses in a nursing home.

RE: Canelo-GGG II signed for September 15th!
Canelo wouldn't be taking the fight if a) he couldn't win, or if he really couldn't win then b) if he can't get away with juicing.
