Fury could have made close to 50% vs Joshua if he'd been undefeated. It would have been one of the biggest paydays in the history of boxing.

If Fury looks anywhere near as bad as he has in his last two fights - and he loses - and the fight doesn't sell out - and it does less than 200k PPVs, he's not going to get anywhere close to half and the purse. And the purse will be much much smaller to begin with.

A Fury loss, particularly if it is ugly, could easily cost Fury $10MM+ even if he fights both Wilder and Joshua. And I think there's a real chance that he looks so bad vs Wilder that the Joshua fight doesn't even happen.
