To elaborate on the P4P issues, imagine this. Person A says Sugar Ray Robinson is the greatest fighter in the world. Person B calls bullshit. It's Rocky Marciano. Marciano would knock Robinson out cold and leave him convulsing like an infantile retard. How can you even argue that, Person B asks. You know it's fucking true.

This is where P4P gets its roots. The idea that a smaller fighter is theoretically better than the larger fighter, even if the larger fighter would reduce him to a shitstain if they ever fought.

No one ever said, "If I were smaller and weaker, I could kick your ass." Imagine the inherent stupidity of that. "If I were smaller, weaker, and had less punching power, then I'd be able to take you, I think."

It's the reverse that is true. It's the little guy who imagines victory if only he were bigger or stronger, or even just as large or almost as large as the guy he is fighting. Again, that's the root of the P4P argument.

There just isn't any need or sense in re-imagining a heavyweight as a lightweight. The heavyweight is already the king. He's already the greatest fighter on earth. It's the little guy who needs to be propped up. Well, just imagine if Sugar Ray were a heavyweight. Boy, he'd kick so-and-so's ass.

Now, if you want to do P4P as a career comparison, that I understand. Then you have a good reason to add heavyweights to the list. But if we want to compare speed, power, and size, there just isn't (and wasn't historically) any need to include a heavyweight. He's the reason you need a P4P discussion to begin with.
