RE: TV shows/series
Other mixed bag of favourite TV shows would also have to go to..
Married With Children This was filled with so many funny moments with funny lines, good characters & was quite controversial for it's time & probably even more so now if it was made today. Mr. Bean Yup! Rowan Atkinson is the goods! Mr. Bean is classic comedy..he was a new generation Charlie Chaplin..his humour was visual based which is why he was such an international success & why he (along with Jerry Seinfield) is the highest earning comedians in the world. Seinfeld! Can't believe this is only getting mentioned now. I was a late bloomer only getting into it years after it's final episode! Bar Jerry, they were all great actors & probably had the best on screen chemistry ever! The Tom Green Show The Canadian cable version..not so much the watered down MTV show he had. This was so fresh, new & raw as fuck for it's time & was in a way revolutionary to a new form of comedy. Pee Wee Herman's Playhouse What a trip!! One of the longest but best intros you'll come across lol Beavis & Butt-Head At one point I wasn't big on the couch scenes where they'd watch music video clips but now this is better than the actual written skits. The lines & commentary to the songs are just hilariously delivered & also a good way to find hidden gems from a great era of music! City of Men 1 season series based on the film City Of God. |
