RE: TV shows/series
(04-17-2019 10:41 AM)blackbelt2003 Wrote: SPOILER ALERT: I didn't find it that bad for a TV show. Ricky writes his own stuff and has his own strong beliefs. This scene was merely an exaggerated belief of his. That people should also have their own rights to end their life. In the show, that was his way of showing compassion and trying to help in his own fucked up way while he was close to rock bottom. It was obvious in that scene when they were both talking about there lost loved ones. Tony tries to tell him how much in common they have, and it was a revelation for him when he was told they have nothing in common because Tony hadn't given up on life (still the dog and his nephew George) while the junkie had totally given up. I know it is exagerrated in the show, but it was just a reflection of Ricky's personal view on assisted suicide. It didn't ruin the show for me and I actually really, really enjoyed the show. |
