Some people maybe already did their homework on Chernobyl. I found it eyeopening on a learning front, in terms of what happened, how it happened and how much it could have escalated, but its also really well done, and acted.
There are people in it, some still alive, whose actions probably saved millions of lives and prevented a colossal chunk of Europe being rendered uninhabitable. Imagine the impact that would have had on the world.... It really brings home the dangers of nuclear, and also the skullduggery going on at govt level in Russia. I wont give yoymu any spoilers, but its quite shameful that I have never heard of Valery Laghazov. You will know why once you watch it. |
