October 6th/7th
Arthur Beterbiev fought today against the undefeated Johnson & was meant to be a great fight! Both knocked eachother down but Beterbiev came away with the KO win!
Also Big Baby Miller got a second round KO over Thomasz Adamek! Miller outweighed Adamek by 90 pounds Also Srisaket got his 20th straight win also by a shutout! Anyone see these? |

Fucking DAZN is taking all the fights, didn't see shit.

I saw the Beterbiev-Joshnson fight...Great shoot out.
Both men had similar styles (wide stances, high guards, throwing sporadic but big shots). Beterbiev looked slightly more polished, but Johnson surprisingly looked the bigger single shot puncher. Strange knockdown in the opener with Johnson being pushed so his head went between the ropes, then as the ref says stop, Beterbiev clocked him (as he was pulling his head back into the ring), but the ref scored it a knockdown anyway. Second round and they trade big shots, but Johnson gets through with a left hook to the temple that scatters Beterbiev's senses. He gets up on wobbly legs buy strangely Johnson doesn't go for the finish. Good action in the third...Beterbiev outworks him, but Johnson looks dangerous every time he throws. Both trade in the 4th, and Beterbiev's faster shots see him land a right hand as Johnson lunges in which catches him on the temple and short circuits him. He barely gets up at 9.75 but it's called off (sensibly). Black |
