GB started off doing well with Canelo... but damn Canelo might be disliked more then Chavez jr ever was. Those dodgy scorecards and diva preferential treatment has really turned off the true Mexican fan base..
I saw a ton of my FB friends bitching cuz nobody could watch his last fight... they were posting stuff like "My cable provider said they arent showing the PPV fight cuz of Canelos new contract... Something about him signing an exclusive deal with some app, WHAT A SELLOUT!!"(along those lines) I saw maybe 10 posts from clearly casual people completely confused and dumbfounded. |
