Being a patient fighter against Floyd is a recipe for DISASTER.

What do you think is going to happen?

Is Cotto going to beat him from the outside? Nope.

Can Cotto beat him from the inside? Nope.

Can Cotto outwork him? Nope.

Can Cotto outspeed him? Nope.

Can Cotto take him out with one good shot? Nope again.

Cotto is NOT a good pressure fighter, at least not these days. These days he is a guy that tries to stay on the outside, moves a lot and will try to outbox you. There is no-one in boxing who does that better today than Mayweather.

The second Cotto tries to come forward and pressure Floyd he will eat a big right hand which will set him back on his heels and that will be that.

As for not getting into his head I would really disagree with that statement. I've seen both Margarito and Manny do it so I see no reason why Floyd wouldn't be able to do it as well. Jon I like Cotto too but no way does he win a fight against Mayweather, I doubt he wins a round.
