Things not thread worthy
By the way, does anyone know how you officially score a round when 1 knockdown has been scored by both fighters in a round? In the end, it doesn't really matter as it will still be a one point difference, but I noticed this when scoring the DLH-Quartey fight.
I think it was the 5th round where they both knocked each other down. DLH knocked Quartey down and up until this point, it is 10-8 DLH, then Quartey scores a knockdown and this even things out. I thought Quartey won the round, so with a knockdown each they both cancel each other out and then you just go back to who you thought had the better round. I ended up scoring that round 9-8 for Quartey as I believe you should lose a point if you have been dropped so I gave the winner 9 and the loser 8. But I saw Lederman and he scored it 10-9. I know it's trivial and it won't make a difference in the end, but how would you officially score that round? 10-9 or 9-8? Something tells me I am wrong, because of the 10 point must system, but I think my score makes sense, you can also look at the score of that round and just by looking at it, you know something happened to produce a score like that. If it's 10-9, it just looks like a normal round if you see that score on that round. |
