Things not thread worthy
Fitz Wrote:By the way, does anyone know how you officially score a round when 1 knockdown has been scored by both fighters in a round? In the end, it doesn't really matter as it will still be a one point difference, but I noticed this when scoring the DLH-Quartey fight.Fitz, I think you're right in scoring it 9-8. I agree that in the 10 point must system it would seem that the winner should get 10 points, but if you look at it as a no knockdown round with a point deduction I think it's easier to understand. Say you have a perfectly normal round, no knockdowns, and one guy wins clearly wins the round which would make it your typical 10-9 round. Say the guy that wins the round gets a point taken away for an illegal blow. That round would have to be scored 9-9. There's no way he could get a score of 10 in that round. I think in that DLH/Quartey example that Harold perhaps just made a mistake? |
