Things not thread worthy
For the record, Tszyu believed he was at his prime, smarter than he had ever been.
His coach thought he was past it and if I remember correctly, had a very poor preparation - one where he and his father decided how they would train, rather than his coach. Then again, his coach wanted him to retire after the Phillips fight. My view, Tszyu was nowhere near the explosive puncher he was when he was younger, but he was definately more 'measured'. I think the former would have worked much better against Hattons style. And I hate to throw away the old cliche line - 'styles make fights'. |
